COVID19 Protocol at See Spot Grin

  • Keep at least 8 feet between you and another person.

  • Refer to the running order I texted you and keep track of who’s in front of you. When that person enters the building you’ll see the green light turn off. Have your dog ready to enter the building when the green light turns back on.

  • Use your own hand sanitizer or wipes before you open the classroom door. Only use the bottle at the bottom of the steps if you haven’t already used yours.

  • Don’t touch anything in the classroom.

  • Use more hand sanitizer or wipes after you leave the classroom.

Today’s Lesson

We’re working on multiple hides today. You’ll find two rows of chairs with a row of tables in between when you entered the classroom. Each chair and table has a hide on it.

Round 1:

  • You’ll have seven minutes to find as many hides as your dog can find. Then go back to your vehicle.

  • The goal is to challenge your timing and handling skills. How quickly can you call each hide? How fast can you reward at source? How efficiently can you move your dog off a hide to continue the search? How can help your dog if he repeatedly goes back to a hide he’s found?

Round 2:

  • Same set up. Only one hide will be placed. You’ll run this blind. When you’re finished you’re welcome to leave.
