You’re invited! We’re pleased to have finally finished creating our play yard and are excited to share it with you. Please note that this is a private invitation. We are not open to the general public. You’ve been hand selected for your courtesy and how you advocate for your dog, so please don’t share this link or extend the invitation to others. If you know someone who might be a good fit, please email and explain why. We’ll consider them and email them an invitation if we agree.

Come and relax with your dog, do some training, or create your own adventure. You’ll find plenty of options, but there are some things you should consider. One side of our fenced acre is shared with our neighbor, who has two very nice, curious, bouncy Boxers, who may come out from time to time, bark a bit, and will gladly enjoy running the fence with your dog. (We don’t recommend that as a healthy activity and highly discourage it. Just mentioning it so you know that they might show up.) Any available shade is in the back of the yard, and there isn’t much shade at all in the middle of the day. Bring your own water for you and your dog. There is no human potty available. Mowers are seasonal and come on Wednesdays, so pick any other day if you don’t want your session cut short.

Agility

We are happy to share our agility equipment with you. The contact equipment is deliberately set at low heights. Please refrain from adjusting heights or moving any of it, except for hoops and adding wires to the weave poles, and return them when you’re finished with them. Here’s a list of what’s available:

  • Aframe

  • Dog Walk

  • Teeter

  • Tunnels

  • Tire Jump

  • Weave Poles w/wires

  • Hoops

  • Table

Obedience & Rally

We’ve got a full set of obedience jumps, and some gating to help you train go-outs. You’ll have to set them up yourself and return them when you’re finished.

For Rally, we have a full set of WCRL Level 1 signs already in binders that you can set up in the yard. One box contains stationary signs, the other has signs that involve turns and pace changes while heeling. Crack each binder partially open, stand it up in the grass, and viola, you’ll have a full course before you know it!

Sniff Central

Whether it’s nose work, treat foraging or sniffing dog smells, we’ve got lots of ways your dog can enjoy using his nose.

  • Nose Work - There’s birch odor in the box. Add the tin to either the Ring of Odor or the Odor Six Packs and move it about for as many searches as you’d like.

  • Treat Foraging - Our Bed of Balls is a great place to sprinkle treats and then let your dog dive in and hunt for them. Or, add some towels (provided) to the (dry) water table and tuck treats in and around them for another fun treat finding game.

  • Social Sniffing - If your dog is curious about other dogs, you’ll find the dog fur from different dogs under the PVC caps on the yellow platform. Take off the caps and let your dog explore. You can even leave some of your own dogs’ fur for the next guy.

More Fun

We’ve got plenty of options for you and your dog to explore and enjoy together, but please make sure you’re only allowing your dog on the equipment. No people please!

Feel free to set them up, and be sure to put them back how you found them when you’re done.

  • Klimb Tables

  • Agility Ladder

  • Plyo Boxes

  • Trampoline

  • Sand pit for digging

  • Doggy hammock

  • Toys, bubbles and more

  • AKC Fetch gates

  • Wading pools (in the summer)

Please limit your free fun to one hour per visit. When you’re ready to book just shoot me an email with dates and preferred times, and I’ll get back to you.
