How It Works

You may opt to have your current dog or one you’re considering evaluated in one of two ways:

Informal CARAT Assessment

An informal CARAT assessment involves up to an hour spent with you and the dog at See Spot Grin, and provides a snapshot, including observation and immediate discussion of how the traits noted relate to the job(s) you hope the dog will perform. No written report will be given. $150*

Formal CARAT Assessment

A formal CARAT assessment includes a recorded session reviewed with you and kept on file, a scored profile and a written CARAT report. $250*

*Additional travel expenses for off-site assessment may apply. Any follow up training will be charged separately.
